The group exhibition Palästina zwischen Augen at the neue Gesellschaft für bildende Kunst (nGbK) in Berlin brings together twelve artistic positions, including Stellar Meris, across film, video, installation, sound, photography and drawing.
Accompanied by a public programme, the exhibition examines the social and political structures that shape perception, questioning how established ways of seeing influence whose experiences, histories and humanity are recognised. Through artistic practices engaging with personal and collective archives, colonial histories and contemporary realities, Palästina zwischen Augen challenges dominant narratives surrounding Palestine and creates space for alternative perspectives, collective memory and solidarity.
The exhibition invites visitors to reconsider the relationship between images, visibility and political representation, exploring how art can open new possibilities for understanding and engaging with contested histories.
