For the Hamburg gallery Melbye-Konan the concept to focus on three artists from the Ivory Coast in their first participation at the POSITIONS Berlin Art Fair, who deal thematically with masks in different ways, has worked out. Due to high response, more than half of the works were already sold by the first day. Especially the works of Yannick Ackah, which remind one of Picasso and Basquiat, fascinated the visitors and were already sold out on the first day of the fair. In terms of price, his works exhibited at the fair range from €10,000 to €18,000.
