From 15 July to 15 September 2025, Galerie Melbye-Konan presents the exhibition The Sea Between Us, a tribute to five years of Franco-German cultural dialogue and curatorial engagement.
Through the works of eight international artists, the exhibition explores the sea as both a space of connection and rupture — a fragile ecosystem and a symbol of transformation. Sculptures, paintings, installations, and mixed media works reflect on ecological urgency and our relationship with the living world.
Participating artists: Yannick Ackah, Belén, Nathalie David, François Martinache, Stella Meris, Ngoye, Karolin Schwab, and Yeanzi.
Presented in connection with the 3rd United Nations Ocean Conference (Nice, June 2025), in collaboration with the Consulate General of France and the Institut français in Hamburg.
